Can we visit and feed the wombats
The answer is No.
We are wildlife carers rescuing wildlife from dead road kill mum's or being injured and unable to survive-in the wild without out intervention.
We rehabilitate them and are mindful that these have to be wild and manage in the wild not come up to humans, dogs as that will generally be the their death.
This is why wildlife carers licences prohibits this, its a pretty good reason.
We like educate via calendar, website and social media as generally wombats and kangaroo's are not regarded very highly by farmers and many others.
There are numerous zoo's around with Australian wildlife or go camping, sit quietly and you might be surprised what you see, theres numerous camping grounds on the east coast of Australia that have wombats.
