Feather Earrings Winds - Allegria
Earring Size (cm): 2.3 W x 4.0 H
The earring artwork was cropped from Kathleen's artwork "Desert Winds"
We have used crops of aboriginal artist Kathleen Buzzacott's paintings and printed them on anodised aluminium. Currently there are 4 designs in the collection. The two pieces of formed aluminium that make up each earring move delicately as if they were feathers, hence the name of this range. The ear hooks are made from sterling silver and the earrings ship in a round Allegria Designs branded gift box.

Kathleen grew up at the Hermannsburg community, where she learned the Western Aranda language. Her mother is of the Pitjantjatjara tribe. Now located in Alice Springs, her art is inspired by memories: My desire is to showcase the beauty of Aboriginal culture using bush tucker and childrens stories that spark the imagination and lift the spirit. Allegria Designs is pleased to collaborate with Kathleen and to contribute royalties back to her.
