The Superb Lyrebird is found in the forests of southeastern Australia, ranging from southern Victoria to southeastern Queensland.
They are one of the best mimics in the world! They can copy almost any sound it hears, like other birds, dogs barking and even camera clicks!
The males have big, beautiful tail feathers that look like a lyre, a musical instrument from long ago.
When they want to impress a female lyrebird, the males spread their tails like a fan and dance while singing lots of different sounds.
We loved drawing this Superb Lyrebird for you.
