Sales directly fund the local parkinsons Nurse. Rocklilywombats makes nothing from this fundraiser. Were actually paying the card processing costs and some of the freight.
We are hosting this fundraiser on our website Rocklilywombats as Warwick whom is the wombat whisperer of Rocklilywombats has Parkinsons for many years. This is why we retired from our carers to Rocklily in 2012 and set up Rocklilywombats wildlife refuge and Warwick is also currently the local Goulburn Parkinsons group leader. Our Goulburn district nurse Lauren currently has over 100 clients in the greater Goulburn NSW. Parkinsons is on the increase and by contributing half the cost has helped the NSW Governement Dept fund the nurse for the past 3 years.
Through the Goulburn Parkinsons suport group fundraising efforts the group pays half of the costs of the local Parkinsons nurse, improving the lives of people wiith Parkinsons, their carers and families.
